b) Browsing and site usage data. When the user browses the website, and provided they have given their consent, we may process technical and usage data such as the IP address, the device or browser identifier, the pages visited, the date and time of access and similar statistical data. This information is collected by means of cookies and similar technologies, as detailed in the cookie policy.
3. Purposes of the processing
We process personal data for the following purposes:
- To handle requests for information received through the website.
- To respond to commercial or professional enquiries.
- To assess applications received and communicate with applicants about their application.
- To manage communications relating to our software development services.
- To manage communications relating to our own SaaS products, such as RestQ.
- To maintain a pre-contractual or contractual relationship where applicable.
- To analyse and improve the operation and content of the website using analytics tools.
- To comply with the applicable legal obligations.
4. Legal basis for the processing
The legal basis for processing the data depends on each case:
- The user's consent, when they voluntarily submit a form or communication, and when they accept the use of analytics or measurement cookies.
- The application of pre-contractual measures, when the enquiry relates to a possible engagement or when we assess an application at the applicant's request.
- The performance of a contract, when there is a contractual relationship with the user or with the company they represent.
- Compliance with legal obligations, where necessary.
- Legitimate interest in maintaining professional communications with clients, suppliers or business contacts, and in ensuring the security and correct operation of the site.
The user may withdraw their consent at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to its withdrawal.
5. Retention periods
We retain the data for as long as necessary to handle the request, manage the professional or contractual relationship and comply with the applicable legal obligations.
The technical copy of applications and attached CVs submitted through the form is retained in Cloud Firestore for 180 days after receipt. Applications received by email are retained for as long as necessary to assess the application and manage related communications, subject to any blocking required to address possible legal liabilities.
When the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, it is kept blocked solely for the periods necessary to address possible legal liabilities, after which it is deleted.
Data processed for analytics purposes is retained for the period configured in the measurement tool and as indicated in the cookie policy.
6. Recipients of the data
As a general rule, we do not disclose the data to third parties, except where legally required or when necessary to provide a requested service.
